Weekend O' Softball

After going back and forth on whether or not to go, we finally decided that life's too short and we don't get to see our friends enough so we went to Salina for a softball tournament. B, along with a team of college friends, played 13 games of softball in 2 days. There were 8 games on Saturday when the temperature was around 100 degrees and 5 games on Sunday when I am guessing it was in the low 90's (which felt great). It was exhausting, even for me and I didn't even play, but totally worth it to get a weekend with a group of friends we don't get to see all that much. The team did really good Saturday and had a winning record overall. But they were beat up by the end of it! Just another sign that we are getting older I guess.
